Apache Design Solutions Selected as One of the Top 60 Emerging Startups Worldwide
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Oct. 19, 2004—
Apache Design Solutions, the technology leader in
physical power integrity solutions for system-on-chip (SoC) designs,
today announced that it was selected for Silicon Strategies' 60
Emerging Startups list. "The Silicon 60," as it is known, names the
top technology startups to watch from among thousands worldwide. The
companies on the list are selected by the editors of Silicon
Strategies (www.siliconstrategies.com), a 24/7 news website produced
by the EE Times network.
The selection for the Silicon 60 is based on a mix of criteria
including technology, intended market, maturity, financial position,
and investment profile. The startups on the list are those involved in
semiconductors, fab equipment, packaging, foundry, materials, MEMS and
electronic design automation (EDA) software. Apache is one of only two
EDA companies on the list.
"We are excited to be recognized for our technology leadership,"
said Andrew Yang, CEO of Apache. "This is also a strong indication of
the importance of power and noise integrity for the upcoming sub-90nm
SoC design challenges."
